sphingotest® bio-ADM®
The sphingotest® bio-ADM® is a non-automated immunoluminometric assay (ILMA) for the in vitro diagnostic quantitative measurement of bioactive Adrenomedullin 1-52 in human EDTA plasma.
Bioactive Adrenomedullin 1-52 (bio-ADM*) measurement in conjunction with clinical assessments and other laboratory findings is used as an aid in the prediction of the need of vasopressor therapy in patients with sepsis or septic shock.
The sphingotest® bio-ADM® is intended for use by professional users in laboratory settings.
Assay technology
The microtiter assay is based on a chemiluminescence sandwich immunoassay technology, which is a standard tool in analytical research and diagnostic testing laboratories.
