IB10 sphingotest® DPP3 is a rapid point-of-care (POC) immunoassay for the quantitative in vitro determination of Dipeptidyl Peptidase 3 (DPP3) in human EDTA whole blood and plasma. DPP3 measurement in conjunction with clinical assessments and other laboratory findings is used as an aid in the prediction of short-term survival in patients with sepsis or septic shock.
The test is designed for professional use only and may be used on sites where near patient testing is practiced.
