International Scientific Affairs Manager (m/f/d)

for full-time and permanent employment in home office or at our headquarters in Hennigsdorf near Berlin, Germany. The position reports to the Marketing Management.

Your responsibilities:

  • You maintain and systematically expand our international network of clinical and scientific opinion leaders.
  • In close cooperation with Medical Affairs, Product Management and Marketing, you develop roadmaps to generate scientific, clinical and health economic evidence supporting the adoption of our diagnostic products.
  • You implement these roadmaps in collaboration projects with our international network of opinion leaders and support the publication of the results of such projects in peer-reviewed journals.
  • You support marketing and sales with scientific and medical expertise on our products.
  • You monitor scientific and clinical publications referring to our products and their respective competitors and provide relevant results for marketing and sales
  • You represent sphingotec at conferences, towards professional associations and industry associations, and support the recognition of our products in guidelines and reimbursement schemes.

Your profile:

  • A university degree with a postgraduate degree in medicine or life sciences
  • Several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry
  • Experience in design, implementation and evaluation of (non-regulatory) biomarker studies with analytical, clinical and health economic endpoints
  • A solid understanding of statistical methods relevant for clinical trials and diagnostics
  • Experience in authoring scientific publications and presentations
  • A good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in medical diagnostics
  • A high level of scientific and ethical integrity
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A high willingness to travel amounting to at least 50% of working time

  • Very good oral and written English language skills; German language skills are a plus
  • Routined use of Microsoft Office
  • A driving license
